Through her suffering,
she’ll forge a tempered Peace – Immoveable and Hers, in equal measure.
Then, tethered to the strength of Mars
march,
march she will
into the Blackened, Sweet Bliss
at the centre of her being
And there,
there
in the beauty of such breath-stealing chaos,
there she will build a universe.

I await you, silent sunrise, albeit with reluctance
for you steal away my dreams
strip away my dark blankets of sleep and
inspire my lungs with
a breath all of their own
whether they wish it so
or not.
Black doves beat their Death inside my heart but
I know
they’ll come again
when the moon turns tides in her own silent hour.
36″ x 36″ x 1.5″

do you believe in a beauty
so deep – nestled inside your vena
cava.
pump pump pumping out the nightwaves
it’s rapture communing with the stars and
though there are many voices surrounding your choices
only YOU know the way,
you do.
acrylic – 60cm x 80cm
Bound am I by my ability to paint and yet, paint I must, in pursuit of that something
something
so satisfying and necessary and grand. May the spookey
and the lovey never separate
and
forever be forged as
a whole, belonging together on one single face.

as long as the value sees parallel.
